Who says one year olds can't paint? These two are busy busy busy. Some paint got on the paper… Some paint didn't!
Look at how everyone is enjoying these hand-me-downs from Teagan. If you have toys your kids are no longer interested that may be something daycare appropriate, we are always looking for hand-me-downs!
When do people start losing compassion for each other? In this picture you can barely see the little person in the middle being consoled by my other little daycare girls on the outside. Everyone had clothes for playing outside in the snow. The little one in the middle's snow clothes hadn't arrived yet prompting tears for fear she would be left out. On their own one by one the others came to hug the little one in the middle. Too bad The world doesn't always hold such innocent compassion.
Who says dramatic play has to stay indoors. The princesses are busy searching for their hidden ice jewels!
I love to make up a little games to go with our letter of the week learning Letter N Theme- nests
Learning about nests today. After the putting feathers on our birds we can identify and count the number of worms our bird will eat. We can then brush up on our fine motor skills by using tweezers to put worms in our birds mouth.....
Every day at circle time we have been working on sign language for the song five little monkeys jumping on the bed for our M theme. It always seems like we are making such great progress… Until I try to capture it on video. I swear they do a much better job than this video shows!
p.s. I also have no idea why all my videos are loading sideways these days!!😳
!Aaahhhhh. A peaceful Friday morning spent looking at books. I have read about 15 so far this morning interspersed with watching Harper context clues to read quietly herself! That's a good kindergarten readiness skills
