we love cows!! Today we tried our hand at milking cows! We also used cream and other things to make our own Ive cream!!
today during farm week we learned about pigs. We used chocolate pudding to smear mud on our pigs and blended color for pretty paper plate pigs!! Rounding off the day... pig cookies and games!!
Yes it’s farm week here at daycare!! Today we learned about sheep. We watched a video on how they sheer the sheep. We then tried our hand at sheering shave cream wool off our own sheep. We moved on to cotton balls and contact paper that helped other sheep look fabulously fluffy!! Why not sheep for snack?? Mmmmm sheep ricecakes!!
Get ready for the pretty ponies! Today is horse show day and it is the last day of first week. These beautiful ponies all are having a bath. Their hair has been washed one thousandth times! After they were all dry their hair was combed. Can you believe this activity kept them busy for a one and a half hours?! Later today and we will munch on horse looking cookies while we have a horse show with our stick horses. Horse week was great!! 🐎
Check out the beautiful paper and tissue paper hats we have made for the Kentucky Derby today! What would the derby be without some exquisite hats! Everyone shows their own flowers and color of hat and I created them by rolling paper and staples… Lots and lots of staples and glue. The results are stunning… Everyone looks the part!
So what if we had 18 inches of snow in the middle of April yesterday… So one of the actual Kentucky derby is about a month away… Today at day care we celebrated the Kentucky derby anyway! This is the start of first week and what a better way to start things out then a fancy party! Fancy hats, Fancy desserts, Kentucky derby race games and prizes for the winners

We sure were busy on our trip to China today! Fill orders for Chinese food with chopsticks, made Chinese lanterns, ate fortune cookies while trying on some beautiful Chinese jackets.
It is the places you go week and today The gint plane ticket told us we are going across the ocean to Italy!! Look at all the fun Italian items Madden’s mother brought for us to look at. We practice our hand at the building the leaning Tower of Pisa with building toy. We painted with an Italian favorite… Spaghetti noodles of course!We will have spaghetti with meatballs and bread sticks for lunch! We love Italy
Our visit To Mexico is a wrap. We made Pineada’s, play doh tortillas, learned some Spanish words, and played guess the sombrero We followed that up with Mexican Fried ice cream for dessert! I wonder where our magic plane ticket will take us tomorrow on our “ places you go “ week?
