Farewell to the beach theme and farewell for the B. End of the Beach theme sand pail lunch on our own faux beach!!!
Letter B - beach week! Practicing colors and shapes as we match fish to the fishbowl! The fun continues as we choose shells to try to find a Letter B. Seafoam play doh kept us busy as we made seashell prints, buried sea shells, and then had just plain fun!!
Play finished the day washing sea animals in sea foam! Everyone loved this activity and they washed sea animals at the beach for a long time!! For snack we had fish at the beach… Yummy!
Continuing our beach theme this week With cute sea life aquariums… I have sea life leggings on today in honor of the beach!! We worked on upper and lower case A-F again today. We had a big Surprise at lunch today with mermaid meals!!!! They were terrific.
Last day of the B for bear week. Today we talked about polar bears, we sang songs about polar bears and talked about their habitat. We made a science experiment that turned paint into this fluffy snow to replicate an arctic habitat for polar bears
We practiced our hand at igloo making and we enjoyed the beautiful fall weather.
Hmmmm... not looking much like the bear snack I envisioned but I'm sure it still taste good! Check out the Bears on the picnic blankets, now they turned out cute!!!
Working on the B this week. I think for the week is bears. We played a bear matching game to mess pattern bears in pairs, we sang the song 10 bears in bed and practiced listening to directions andcounting while pushing one object forward or one object back... and of course eating the Bears at the end! I talked about hibernating and we made dens for the Bears we colored to hibernate in.
All about "a" week. Today's theme was Arctic animals. We learned some fun facts about the arctic animals. We learned how Arctic animals and other animals stay warm in the Arctic air. We talked about Beluga whales. We played memory matching and animal identification with Arctic animals. We made edible arctic animal necklaces!! We ended preschool today by making a move out of mini marshmallows… You can guess how it ended! Yum!
yay for the first day of preschool. Everyone was very excited. We estimated our height and apples, ate Apple aliens , created wormy apples and talked about the Ietter a. They will all take home a granola bar pencil for doing a good job on the first day!
