Its day one of occupation week!! Today we talked about firefighters. We practiced fire drills with our “ you’re house is in fire” game. We practiced following directions and colors with give a firedog it’s spots game
Take care of yourself week continues with the topic if good grooming. what fun this was! we practiced hairstyles with clips and barettes. The best part was when we got to cut the hair!! Oh what fun!! After our haircutting we turned our “client” around to the laminated face and used makeup for makeovers!! This project kept us busy for 2.5 hours!!

How could I have forgotten to post pictures of our favorite thing from science week? We made Skittle rainbows and it was so fascinating! we arranged skittles around the plate and added warm water to the metal. We watched as the color seeped making rainbow on the plate. Of course we ate the leftover skittles as we watched!
Today was the final day of ours week. It was also the day that furnace do you sign in at two in the night leaving us with a chilly 61° in the house. We still were able to where are fancy western wear skirts and stay warm by hopping at The rodeo with our new hoppy Horses. Great indoor fun on a cold day.
come to the ranch with us and ride this fun little stiff courses that I made for the kids! They love this so much and it is fun to have them learn through play with props from our weekly theme. There was much trying on and debate about who would wear which pair of painted boots. They all love to dress up and there was much “clomping” around the house with little feet clad in Fancy boots I painted for cuteness!!
It’s horse week at daycare! We practiced our scissor skills by cutting the mane and tail of our horses. This kept them busy for quite a while and they really concentrated. Scissor skills is hard for kids but a necessary skill
for kindergarten readiness.
This horse race game was fun. Can you tell what they were learning here? We are learning to identify numbers, where I learned to count and to move one place at a time, we are learning to take turns and be good sports. The kids love games like this.
This week is horse theme at preschool. We practiced number identification and counting with number cards or dice to see who would finish the horse race first!
today we had fun with science!! science week activities. the scientists made rain clouds, glow in the dark volcanos and mini volcano eruptions today!
This week we will do some interesting things revolving around science. Today we will talk to about weighing things. Measuring call big, little, heavy, light.
we used a scale to measure what was heavier or what was the lightest. We used a tape measure to measure height and then had a poll to guess who was tallest.
